Hirado Heritage – Local Resources Database
This website is managed and operated by the Local Resources and Tourism Development Council (Secretariat: Hirado City Hall, Culture and Exchange Division) in order to introduce local resources in Hirado City.
The purpose of the website is to create a database of many attractive local resources, regardless of whether they are designated as cultural properties or not.
What is "Hirado Heritage"?
The purpose of "Hirado Heritage" is to research and study Hirado's unique history and culture, and to disseminate information and results of such research through history lectures and the website and by doing so to foster a feeling of respect for Hirado's rich natural, historical and cultural heritage and traditional culture.
